When it comes to choosing the right SUV for your family, Nissan and Ford both offer competitive models. While the 2022 Nissan Armada has a lot to offer in the way of performance and technology, it is impossible not to discount the 2022 Ford Expedition. In terms of price, performance, cargo space, technology, and other features, there is a lot to love about both models.

As you shop for the newest SUV to meet your transportation needs, you’ve got a lot to consider. Here’s what you can expect from the new Armada and Expedition.

Price

First, let’s take a look at the starting price of each vehicle. The 2022 Nissan Armada has an MSRP of $48,900 for the base model. The SV trim begins at $52,900, and a premium SL model is available starting at $56,710. The most expensive model begins at $65,300. This price is comparable to similar vehicles.

The cheapest 2022 Ford Expedition starts at $51,080. If you choose to add the option for a 4-wheel drive, you can expect to spend a little more. If you choose the Platinum trim, you can expect to spend over $76,000. While this might seem steep, the price of the base model is on par with other options.

Performance

 Nissan Armada

The Ford Expedition offers a twin-turbocharged 3.5 turbo V6 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission, and it is a faster vehicle than the Armada. Additionally, the Expedition gets better gas mileage. In part, this is because the engine turns off to save fuel when it is stopped. You have the power to turn off this feature and keep the engine running at all times if this is your preference. While these are great advantages, the engine gets just 380 horsepower, which is lower than the Nissan. Still, you’ll have access to standard rear-wheel drive as well as an option for all-wheel drive.

In comparison, the Nissan Armada offers a 5.6-liter Endurance V8 engine and 7-speed automatic transmission. You’ll get 400 horsepower out of the standard engine as well as rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The engine does not turn off when the vehicle is stopped like the Expedition, so you will likely use more fuel behind the wheel of this SUV. While this SUV might seem unassuming, a lot of power hides under the hood.

Towing Capacity

If you are trying to figure out which of these options is ideal for towing, you should consider that the Nissan Armada can tow 8,500 pounds at most. While the base model does not offer a way to ease trailer sway, the Armada SL and Premium trims do offer a way to ease the dangerous movements of anything you are towing. The Armada’s 7-speed transmission helps you tow with more power, and it also offers a Tow/Haul transmission mode for increased performance. At this time, no towing package seems to be available for this vehicle.

On the other hand, the Ford Expedition has a towing capacity of 9,300 pounds, so it’s a bit beefier in terms of towing capabilities. Additional equipment makes towing with the Expedition even easier. When it is used to tow, the 2022 Ford Expedition takes advantage of AdvanceTrac sensors, which help brake to counteract trailer sway. Kelly Blue Book speaks highly of the Expedition’s towing power.

Cargo & Seating

The 2022 Expedition offers 171.9 cubic feet of space in the cabin. You’ll find that the Expedition offers over an inch of extra headroom and two more inches of legroom in the front of the vehicle. In the second and third rows, you will still find plenty of legroom and hip room for each seat. Plus, the Expedition allows you to automatically lower your second and third rows of seats with the press of a button. The Expedition also offers a hands-free opening of the hatch for easier loading.

The 2022 Armada offers slightly less cabin space with 154.5 cubic feet. Ultimately, you end up with slightly less space behind your third seat than with similar SUVs. While the Armada’s cabin is a bit smaller in most ways, this is not necessarily a bad thing. Many drivers prefer a smaller SUV with the power and capabilities of a larger vehicle.

Technology

Which vehicle comes off as more technologically advanced? The Nissan Armada is loaded with cruise control, a hands-free phone system, a navigation system, and even Internet access. The vehicle offers a push-button engine start with Bluetooth wireless technology and keyless entry. This vehicle offers all the tech features you would expect from a 2022 model.

You will also find some of the technological features of the Ford Expedition appealing. The 2022 Expedition is equipped with a Sync 4 option and a 15.5-inch touchscreen. The tech also allows different drivers to create different profiles. Additional technology includes a navigation system, cruise control system, push-button engine start, USB port, and real-time traffic information.

Safety

Both the Expedition and the Armada offer great safety features. For instance, the Ford Expedition offers seatbelts that inflate upon collision, which helps prevent seatbelt injuries and whiplash. Co-Pilot360 offers auto emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear parking sensors, road sign recognition, intersection assistance, and lane centering.

While the Armada does not offer the same seatbelt security, you can still count on standard frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, and excellent traction control. The vehicle’s electronic stability system also prevents skidding. Your new Armada will also offer a lane departure warning as well as rearview cameras, driver alerts, and a blind-spot warning system.

Warranty

With the 2022 Nissan Armada, the warranty lasts three years or 36,000 miles. The 2022 Ford Expedition offers the same warranty, so there is not much of a difference here. While this is not the longest warranty on the market, it is not abnormal for similar SUVs.

If you’re shopping for a midsize sedan, the 2022 Nissan Altima may be the right choice for you. This Nissan model is a well-rounded car that offers sublime ride quality, superb fuel efficiency, and a comfortable and well-equipped cabin. Additionally, it comes in seven trim levels to cater to the needs and preferences of different car buyers. Check out this detailed Nissan Altima trim comparison to find your perfect match.

Altima S

With a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $24,750, the S is the base trim of the 2022 Nissan Altima. Similar to almost every other trim, this model is equipped with a 188-horsepower 2.5-liter inline-four engine and a continuously variable transmission. Available with front-wheel drive only, the entry-level Altima returns an EPA-estimated 28/39 mpg (city/highway), making it the most fuel-efficient trim. This rating is among the best in the midsize sedan segment.

No matter which trim you choose, the Nissan Altima is a versatile car that performs well in almost any situation. Its precise and responsive steering makes it easy to drive on crowded city streets, while its low center of gravity and excellent body control help it stay composed at high speeds and along winding roads. It also does a great job of soaking up uneven surfaces, resulting in a smooth and tranquil ride.  Whether you’re commuting to work, cruising around town, or going on a long road trip, you won’t be disappointed with this Nissan model.

Despite its affordable price, the S features a solidly built cabin with a good amount of high-quality materials. Its seats are spacious enough to accommodate most adults and provide plenty of cushioning and support. This trim comes standard with cloth upholstery, a six-way manually adjustable driver’s seat, proximity keyless entry, remote start, and push-button start.

Furthermore, the S has a nice selection of infotainment features to make driving easier and more enjoyable. These include the user-friendly NissanConnect infotainment system, a 7-inch touch-screen display, two USB ports, voice recognition, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker sound system. This Altima model also has a number of driver-assistance technologies to help you stay safe behind the wheel, such as driver-drowsiness detection, pedestrian monitoring, forward-collision alert, forward automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and automatic high-beam headlamps.

If you decide to buy the S, you’ll have the option of getting the Driver Assist package. This package comprises blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic warning, rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree parking camera system.

Altima SV

If you’re interested in the SV, be prepared to spend $25,750 or more. This trim level uses the same powertrain as the S, but it offers all-wheel drive as an option. While it improves traction on sloppy road conditions, the all-wheel-drive system reduces the power output to 182 horsepower and the fuel-economy rating to 26/36 mpg.

The SV has all the features found in the S, plus LED headlamps, 17-inch wheels, an eight-way power driver’s seat, an 8-inch touch-screen display, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, satellite radio, four USB ports, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, reverse automatic emergency braking, and rear parking sensors. Getting this model gives you access to the SV Premium package, which includes heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a moonroof, and Nissan’s innovative ProPILOT Assist technology.

Altima SR

If you want a sporty-looking Nissan Altima, opt for the SR. Starting at $26,750, the SR looks markedly different from the S and SV with revised exterior features such as a dark chrome grille, body-colored door handles, black side mirrors, a contrasting rear diffuser, an exhaust finisher, and machined-finish 19-inch wheels. On the inside, it boasts front sport seats, fabric-leather upholstery, and paddle shifters.

Altima SR Midnight Edition

With a minimum price of $28,500, the SR Midnight Edition sets itself apart from the other trims with its bold and intense styling. It’s similar to the SR in that it has 19-inch wheels and black side mirrors, but it also comes with unique features such as a gloss-black painted grille,  a black Midnight Edition badge, and a rear spoiler. This trim also gains LED fog lights, heated side mirrors, heated front seats, and a moonroof.

Altima SL

The Nissan Altima begins to look and feel upscale with the SL trim. It comes with additional comfort features such as leather-appointed seats, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and rear vents. Additionally, it’s fitted with a Bose audio system with nine speakers, navigation, traffic-sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and ProPILOT Assist. The SL costs $30,190 or more.

Altima SR VC-Turbo

If you plan to go for spirited drives on weekends, you’ll be better off getting the SR VC-Turbo. With a starting price tag of $31,100, this performance-oriented trim is the only Altima to receive a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine, rated at 248 horsepower. It’s capable of sprinting to 60 mph from a standstill in a mere 5.8 seconds, which is impressive for a midsize sedan. However, it’s less fuel-efficient than the other models, achieving just 25/34 mpg.

Aside from having a more powerful engine, the SR VC-Turbo is also equipped with a sport-tuned suspension for a more engaging driving experience. Other exclusive features include dual chrome exhaust finishers and sport cloth seats.

Altima Platinum

If you want a truly well-appointed Nissan Altima, consider going for the Platinum, which starts at $34,450. This top-of-the-line model comes standard with all-wheel drive and adds a driver’s seat with memory settings, a four-way power front-passenger seat, interior accent lighting, a programmable garage-door opener, and a surround-view parking camera system.

When visiting the Akron Zoo, you can enjoy watching rare mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, invertebrates, and even carnivorous plants. In the Legends of the Wild exhibit, for example, you can learn how jaguars got their spots and observe the exotic and ferocious snow leopard in its natural habitat. If you prefer tamer animals, you check out three different species of mischievous lemurs, get up close to an alpaca and a capybara, or gaze at the adorable pygmy slow loris. There’s also Penguin Point, an exhibit containing a group of friendly and curious Humboldt penguins.

For lovers of North American animals, the Grizzly Ridge exhibit features bald eagles, coyotes, red wolves, turkeys, river otters, and the major attraction: muscular, brown grizzly bears. The zoo also has a butterfly garden where visitors can learn more about monarch butterflies, plus an exhibit containing Komodo dragons and massive Galapagos tortoises. The Zoo Gardens hosts over 7,000 native species of plants, flowers, and other fascinating natural wonders. Nearby, the Curious Creatures exhibit features numerous sea creatures and terrestrial invertebrates, including electric eels, a Giant Pacific octopus, and leaf-cutter ants.

Rise and Shine Safari

At the Rise and Shine Safari, you and your family get an opportunity to explore the zoo and learn more about the animals before it opens with a knowledgeable staff member. The interactive experience includes getting to watch zookeepers engage with the lemurs in their enclosures, visiting the habitat of the acrobatic red panda sisters, and observing the lion night yard where the zoo’s lions rest their heads. It also includes a behind-the-scenes experience in the grizzly bear building. The price is $75 per person, with a minimum requirement of two guests.

The Get Closer Experience

The Get Closer Experience also gives you the opportunity to interact with some of the zoo’s most popular animals and speak with a zookeeper. Choose between interacting with the Galapagos tortoises and giving them a shower, grooming some goats, or having fun with animals like armadillos, porcupines, and kinkajous. The price for these experiences is $45 per person, with a minimum of two guests, plus a maximum of four guests for the tortoise experience and six for the other two.

Wild World Animal Show

Make your trip to the zoo extra special by attending the Wild World Animal Show, a 25-minute production where a variety of animal species get to show off what they can do in front of an audience. You can find the animal show inside Nature’s Theater at Lehner Family Gardens. It features a variety of furry, scaly, feathery, and strange creatures from all around the world as they jump, climb, and fly through the air. It’s also a great opportunity to ask the zoo’s staff questions about the animals on display.

Special Events

Throughout the year, the zoo holds a variety of fun, seasonal events for all ages. In October, the zoo hosts Boo at the Zoo, a one-of-a-kind Halloween experience where visitors get the chance to dress up and collect tasty treats from 12 themed stations all throughout the zoo. All ages are welcome to purchase a ticket, and special treats are available for individuals with allergies. During the holidays, the whole family can enjoy Wild Lights, an event that features over one million Christmas lights strung around the zoo and includes many creative photo opportunities.

Adults can enjoy Brew at the Zoo, a special event occurring a few times throughout the year where you can mingle in the zoo after-hours while sipping beer and wine. One event ticket includes eight sample tastings. Seltzers n’ Shells is another after-hours, adult-only event that celebrates World Turtle Day by allowing participants to toast with hard seltzers and ciders from local breweries and discuss the importance of conservation with zookeepers. It also includes special animal appearances and a turtle shower.

During Summer Safari — the zoo’s biggest fundraiser of the year — adults can enjoy encounters with the animals, drinks, delicious food from some of Ohio’s top caterers, and live music. You can also participate in a raffle and silent auction with prizes that include animal art and behind-the-scenes tours of the zoo. Other adult-only events occurring after the zoo closes include Tequila n’ Tigers and Wild for Wine. On community appreciation days, all Summit County residents can enjoy the zoo free of admission.

Akron Zoo Cost of Admission and Membership

If you’re in the market for a new truck that can tow large loads, look no further than the 2022 Nissan Titan. This bold pickup truck has the power to haul heavy items wherever you need to go, ranging from boats to trailers. With the Titan’s incredible towing capabilities, its amazing power, and stellar performance, it’s easy to see why this truck is at the top of its class.

2022 Nissan Titan Towing Capacity Overview

The 2022 Nissan Titan certainly packs a punch. With excellent power and performance, it’s no surprise that this truck has an outstanding towing capacity — a prime feature of this vehicle. The 2022 Titan is reliable, powerful, and bold, making it the ideal truck for all your towing and hauling needs.

Previous models of the Titan had impressive towing capabilities, so you can expect the revamped model to improve this feature too. The towing capacity of this vehicle varies between trim levels, so checking out those specs beforehand can ensure you’re able to haul or tow what you need. Whether you need to tow a camping trailer for a weekend trip or a boat for a family lake outing, the 2022 Titan has you covered.

Nissan Titan Towing Capacity Based on Model and Cab Size

Each trim has amazing hauling capabilities no matter which model you select. So if one model calls to you more than the others, you’ll still get some of the best towing capacity that’s available in the 2022 Nissan Titan lineup. The cab size also affects the Titan’s towing capacity. With so many customizable options, you can personalize your Titan to make the most out of its hauling abilities.

Here are the towing capacities for the two-wheel and four-wheel-drive Titans, accessible when you use the proper hitch:

  • King Cab S: 9,320 pounds.
  • King Cab SV: 9,300 pounds.
  • Crew Cab S: 9,310 pounds.
  • Crew Cab SV: 9,270 pounds
  • Crew Cab Platinum Reserve: 9,180 pounds.
  • PRO-4X: 9,050 pounds.
  • Titan XD: 11,060 pounds.

Nissan Titan Power and Performance

The 2022 Nissan Titan has spectacular towing capacity partly because of its engine. The standard engine that comes with each trim level is a 5.6-liter Direct Injections Gasoline (DIG), DOHC, 32-valve V-8 engine. This incredible engine is capable of 400 horsepower at 5,800 rpm and 413 lb-ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm.

The Titan’s engine works together with the drivetrain to achieve its hauling capabilities. The standard V-8 engine comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission, which maximizes the truck’s fuel efficiency while providing outstanding performance and handling. With a standard rear-wheel drive, you can easily haul large loads in any road condition. Some trims have four-wheel drive, which is beneficial for towing on steep hills and rocky roads.

Nissan Titan Towing Features

When you purchase a 2022 Nissan Titan, you can also get a tow package with several new features that make hauling large loads easy and efficient. Look at these amazing features that come with the 2022 Titan’s towing packages:

  • Intelligent Around View Monitor: With the Intelligent Around View Monitor, you can view your surroundings clearly to hitch a trailer in fewer steps.
  • Remote Trailer Light Check: This feature allows you to check your trailer brake and turn signal lights with your Nissan Intelligent Key.
  • Integrated Trailer Brake Controller: The integrated Trailer Brake Controller lets you adjust or activate your trailer brakes, providing the truck with more stability.
  • Trailer Sway Control: This feature helps align your trailer even in precarious driving conditions.
  • Tow Mirrors: These elongated, sliding mirrors provide enhanced visibility of your trailer when you’re hauling a large load.
  • Tow-Haul Mode: Tow-Haul Mode gives you more power at a steady pace when you shift gears while towing.
  • Bed Assist Grip: The Bed Assist Grip is an additional feature that provides one-handed access to the bed of your truck for storing items while towing.

2022 Nissan Titan Hitch Options

While the Titan already has impressive towing abilities on its own, using the proper hitch option can help make hauling even easier. The Titan’s Hitch Mount Receiver is attached securely to the boxed frame of the truck bed. This provides you with extra strength and stability when driving with a trailer. The Titan XD also comes with a gooseneck hitch engineered into the frame of the truck, which is easily accessible from the truck bed. Gooseneck hitches typically give you more stability and control over your trailer.

Titan Payload Capacity and Bed Dimensions

Nissan made the 2022 Titan primarily for towing. However, these trucks have outstanding payload capacities, referring to how much cargo your truck can hold in and on the vehicle. Whether you’re going on a family road trip or carrying items for work or a personal project, it’s important that you know your payload capacity. Here are the payload capacities for the Titan trim levels:

  • King Cab SV: 1,620 pounds.
  • King Cab S: 1,500 pounds.
  • Crew Cab S: 1,550 pounds
  • Crew Cab SV: 1,600 pounds.
  • Crew Cab Platinum Reserve: 1,310 pounds.
  • PRO-4X: 1,500 pounds.
  • Titan XD Crew Cab: 2,430 pounds.

Truck bed dimensions are also an important consideration when carrying loads with your vehicle. When looking at trucks, you want to ensure that the bed is spacious so you have plenty of room to carry different items and loads. You’ll find that the 2022 Titan has substantial bed dimensions for all your carrying needs:

  • King Cab S and SV: 78.7 inches long; 63.8 inches wide; 20.8 inches deep.
  • Crew Cab S, SV, and Platinum Reserve: 67 inches long; 63.8 inches wide; 20.8 inches deep.
  • PRO-4X: 67 inches long; 63.8 inches wide; 20.8 inches deep.
  • Titan XD Crew Cab: 78.7 inches long; 63.8 inches wide; 20.8 inches deep.

If you’re looking for a vehicle with incredible towing capabilities, the 2022 Nissan Titan could be the right truck for you. From its towing and payload capacity to its bed dimensions, you’ll have enough space and power to haul nearly anything. With the Titan’s additional towing features, you can ride with ease. If you’d like to purchase a 2022 Titan, contact us today at Nissan of Streetsboro in Ohio so our expert staff can set up a test drive and start your financing plan.

If you’re looking for the perfect pickup, the 2022 Frontier has everything you need. With comfort, style, and performance features to maximize towing, this pickup makes for the ideal daily driver and part-time worker alike. Check out this overview from the team at Nissan of Streetsboro for a breakdown of the 2022 Nissan Frontier towing capabilities.

2022 Nissan Frontier Towing Capabilities

The 2022 Nissan Frontier comes with a ton of standard and optional equipment, and each of its trim levels gives drivers a selection of features for any driving need—including towing capabilities. If you’re looking for maximum towing performance, here is what the Frontier trims can deliver:

Frontier King Cab

The Frontier King Cab comes in two configurations, but both the S and SV come standard with Nissan’s 3.8-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) Direct Overhead Cam (DOHC) 24-valve V-6 engine. This platform pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission and can generate up to 310 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. With its heavy-duty, body-on-frame construction and available power, the King Cab two-wheel-drive configuration has a maximum towing capacity of 6,720 pounds.

If you’re looking for off-road capabilities, the King Cab also features a four-wheel-drive option, but you’ll sacrifice some towing capability. However, you still have a maximum capacity of 6,470 pounds in the four-wheel-drive version, making this small pickup a top competitor in its class.

Frontier Crew Cab

The Frontier’s Crew Cab configurations include the S and SV models, and Nissan doesn’t skimp with the truck’s lower trims. Both equip the 3.8-liter DIG DOHC V-6 engine and nine-speed automatic powertrain. They feature the same heavy-duty body and frame durability as the King Cab, with the Crew Cab S giving you a maximum tow rating of 6,570 pounds when equipping the two-wheel-drive drivetrain.

You can also upgrade the Crew Cab S to the four-wheel-drive system if you don’t mind the small dip in the maximum towing capacity. Even then, you can still tow up to 6,370 pounds, which isn’t much of a drop from the two-wheel-drive platform. The Crew Cab SV also packs substantial towing power, with the two-wheel drive’s maximum capacity of 6,530 pounds and the four-wheel drive’s 6,330 pounds.

Frontier Crew Cab Pro-X and Pro-4X

The Frontier Crew Cab Pro-X adds some exclusive equipment but still comes with the same standard engine. This configuration comes only in two-wheel drive, making the most of its 6,470-pound maximum towing capacity. Upgrade to the Crew Cab Pro-4X and you’ll get standard four-wheel drive, high-performance off-road equipment, and exclusive driver technology.

With the four-wheel-drive system, the Frontier Pro-4X can tow up to 6,270 pounds.  At Nissan of Streetsboro, you’ll find a large selection of both pre-owned and new Frontier trims to test drive. Our experienced team will stand by to answer questions you have about the additional performance features this pickup offers.

Frontier Crew Cab Long Bed SV

The Crew Cab Long Bed SV comes standard in two-wheel drive and equips the same 3.8-liter V-6 engine. You also have the option to upgrade this trim to Nissan’s four-wheel-drive drivetrain, which equips a two-speed transfer case and heavy-duty off-road equipment. You’ll get more towing capacity with the two-wheel-drive for a maximum rating of 6,460 pounds. The four-wheel-drive configuration still gives you substantial towing power, though, with a maximum capacity of 6,260 pounds.

2022 Nissan Frontier Payload Capabilities

The Frontier also has the power you need to haul most types of light cargo. Check out the payload capacities for each trim for a better idea of what each configuration offers:

  • Frontier King Cab: The King Cab S two-wheel-drive configuration has a maximum payload capacity of 1,600 pounds, with the SV bumping it up to 1,610 pounds. Opt for the four-wheel-drive King Cab S and the payload drops slightly to 1,410 pounds, with the SV four-wheel drive capable of hauling up to 1,440 pounds.
  • Frontier Crew Cab: The Frontier Crew Cab S and SV configurations also give you adequate hauling capabilities, with the two-wheel-drive models capable of hauling up to 1,460 pounds and 1,480 pounds, respectively. Equipping four-wheel drive gives you maximum payload ratings of 1,260 pounds on the S and up to 1,290 pounds on the SV.
  • Frontier Crew Cab Long Bed SV: The Crew Cab Long Bed SV efficiently uses its bed space and maximum payload capacity of 1,360 pounds when you choose the standard two-wheel-drive configuration. Upgrade to four-wheel drive and you can expect a maximum payload capacity of 1,160 pounds.
  • Frontier Crew Cab Pro-X and Pro-4X:  The Crew Cab Pro-X’s two-wheel drive has a maximum payload capacity of 1,430 pounds. The Pro-4X trim ups the game with its four-wheel-drive capabilities in exchange for a maximum payload rating of 1,230 pounds.

Upgrade Your 2022 Frontier With Optional Convenience Packages

The 2022 Frontier also comes with several optional packages that offer additional features to maximize the car’s towing and hauling convenience. If you’re looking to upgrade the King Cab or Crew Cab SV trims, you can opt for the SV Convenience Package, while the Pro-X and Pro-4X trims feature their own specialized versions. Here is some additional equipment each package gives you:

  • Nissan’s Class IV hitch receiver with seven-pin wiring harness.
  • Utili-track Channel System with adjustable tie-downs.
  • Factory-applied spray-on bed liner
  • A bed-mounted power outlet with 120 volts.
  • Under-rail LED bed lighting.

Other delicious items on their menu include house-made hummus with pita, potato skins, salads and power bowls, and sandwiches like the classic Italian and Barrister’s whopper.

Corky & Lenny’s

A Cleveland landmark since 1956, Corky’s & Lenny’s serves up deli options like hot corned beef, turkey breast pastrami, and imported baked ham sandwiches. Corky and Lenny, the guys who gave the deli its name, got together in the 1950s and came up with an idea to open a deli that offered up their favorite American and Eastern European foods. As the deli grew, it opened additional locations.

Those who head to Corky & Lenny’s early in the day can try their Ham & Eggs, Tongue & Eggs, Sturgeon, or Danielle’s Breakfast Platter. For a sweet breakfast, try the Challah French Toast or oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins. If you’re stopping in for lunch, be sure to try the Stuffed Tomato with Mandarin Oranges and Pecan Chicken Salad or Soup and Half Sandwich option.

Danny’s Deli

Danny’s Deli was established in 1978 on St. Clair Avenue, and continues to serve great corned beef to this day. Danny’s is great because of the large sandwiches, fast service, and wonderful Midwest hospitality. Danny’s offers dine-in service, take-out, and catering services, the latter of which you can use to get party trays, desserts, breakfasts, and deli meat by the pound.

For breakfast, stop by Danny’s to try the Downtown Special, Grand Slam, pancakes, or French toast. Grab a slice of cheesecake or a cookie to finish off your meal with a great dessert.

Gentile’s Bakery

Gentile’s Bakery was founded in 1993 by siblings Filippo and Rachele in Parma. With homemade cannolis, American deli foods, Italian meals, catering, and fresh-baked bread, Gentile’s has something to offer for everyone. Stop in for lunch to try their hot or cold subs, including meatball, sausage, eggplant, corned beef, Italian, prosciutto, and veggie options.

Their homemade lasagna and chicken parm are some of their best pasta options, and you can follow up your meal with a tasty treat from their bakery. For a refreshing and delicious dessert, choose Gentile’s signature cake, the Strawberry Cassta. This cake has layers of sponge cake, pastry cream, and freshly sliced strawberries that can complement your meal from Gentile’s perfectly.

Jack’s Deli & Restaurant

At Jack’s Deli & Restaurant, you can try food that’s been in the Cleveland tradition for more than 30 years. Jack Markowitz and his children, Alvie and Harry, started the deli in 1980, and the dishes today are still prepared with the same focus on quality. Jack’s deli sources the finest ingredients and uses traditional methods when creating their meals.

If you’re heading to Jack’s in the morning, you can enjoy breakfast options like omelets, French toast, and pancakes. Three culinary professionals moved to Cleveland, held pop-up events, and eventually opened up the deli in the Historic Ohio City Firehouse. Their mission is to create unique, approachable, and creative foods from local ingredients.

Larder offers sandwiches, soups, pastries, fresh-baked breads, and vegetarian boards. Some favorites from Larder’s include the Pastrami Sandwich, Daily Catch Sandwich, and Fried Chicken. For dessert, you can grab a Black & White cookie, brownies, cheesecake, or rugelach.
