Flavorful beef or chicken, spicy salsa, a crunchy shell, and fresh vegetable toppings all describe just one of the many amazing types of tacos you will find in the Cleveland area. Whether you’re looking for a traditional taco with beef, onions, and cilantro, or would like to try something new like a whitefish taco with chipotle mayo, you will not be disappointed when you choose any of the local taco joints listed below.

Ohio City Burrito

With three locations in Cleveland, Ohio City Burrito may have the large rolled-up Mexican favorite in their name, but they also serve up some of the most delicious tacos around. When you place your order for your favorite taco, you can watch it being made right in front of you. Plus, you can choose from some of the freshest and most flavorful toppings like shredded cheese, crispy lettuce, spicy salsa, and chopped cilantro.

All the food at Ohio City Burrito is made from scratch each day. This includes their salsas, of which there are seven varieties to choose from. Their guacamole is made from hand-mashed avocados and all of their meats are also roasted in-house. The Chicken Tinga is shredded all-white chicken breast smothered in a tomato-chipotle sauce. The Barbacoa consists of spicy shredded beef that is roasted, pulled, and then covered in their homemade chipotle-adobo sauce. You may also want to try the Carnitas, which is their signature oven-roasted pulled pork shoulder.
